About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provide technical support for the SharePoint environment
- Assess and implement new SharePoint capabilities
- Advise Information Technology on the long-term relationship between SharePoint technology and business opportunities
- Provide remote support to Microsoft Premier customers
- Create Microsoft Teams environments as required
- Troubleshoot SharePoint permissions, site moves and copies, accounts, sites, alerts, and policies
- Migrate large amounts of data from local and network drives to OneDrive and SharePoint using the SharePoint Migration Tool
- Configure OneDrive clients on PC, Mac, and mobile devices
- Translate business requirements into solutions and resolve potentially complex problems
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to enhance the platform
- Conduct triage on SharePoint and OneDrive topics
Requirements
What you’ll need- Hands-on, expert-level skills in Microsoft SharePoint Online, MS Teams, and Microsoft OneDrive for Business
- Experience administering Office 365 and SharePoint/OneDrive environments
- Experience with SharePoint Migration Tool and migration tasks
- Experience configuring OneDrive clients on PC, Mac, and mobile devices
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to troubleshoot SharePoint permissions, sites, accounts, alerts, and policies
- Ability to conduct triage on SharePoint and OneDrive topics
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers to analyze information needs and functional requirements
