About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Add new features to existing RTL designs
- Define and execute test plans
- Analyze and resolve issues
- Develop automation and debugging scripts in Python, Tcl, and Bash
- Improve analysis tools, including the PCIe analyzer and internal tools
- Define and update test bench configurations based on servers and FPGA boards
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and verification teams to define and execute validation campaigns
- Propose and implement improvements to instrumentation and debugging capabilities
- Develop, deploy, validate, and use FPGA-based hardware test benches to validate complex digital FPGA or ASIC designs for exascale HPC and enterprise server applications
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of proven experience in ASIC or FPGA design, including the use of on-board debugging tools
- Proficiency in Linux environments
- Ability to develop scripts in Python, Tcl, Bash, and similar languages
- Motivation to build expertise in PCIe Gen5 and 400G Ethernet
- Experience with an ASIC emulation solution is a plus
- Persistent and methodical approach to problem-solving
- Ability to work independently, creatively, and proactively
- Excellent communication skills in technical environments
- Fluency in English is essential
