Key responsibilities & impact

Take technical ownership of dedicated modules/streams inside the project
Design and implement new features
Implement standard methodologies and SOLID principles
Refactor and improve the existing code base
Participate in code reviews and coach and mentor less experienced team members
Work closely with the QA team to implement features and bug fixes
Contribute to the software development community within the company
Promote out-of-the-box thinking and ideas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience in Java EE, Spring, Servlets, Web Services (REST, SOAP), JPA, Hibernate
Experience with client-server based technologies and software architecture practices
Good understanding of various databases, UI frameworks, and deployment environments
Experience with version control (GIT) and application servers (Tomcat, Jetty)
Experience with unit testing (JUnit, Mockito), continuous integration, build automation, and Agile methodologies
Knowledge of Agile Scrum/Kanban principles
Experience with Angular
English at a very good level; German is a plus
