Key responsibilities & impact

Administer and maintain Linux servers
Ensure the operational continuity and security of infrastructure
Analyze, diagnose, and resolve Level 2 and Level 3 incidents
Perform patching, updates, and version upgrades
Manage permissions, accounts, services, and file systems
Monitor system availability and performance
Automate administrative tasks using Bash, Shell, or Ansible
Contribute to infrastructure enhancements and projects
Write and maintain technical procedures and documentation
Ensure the availability, performance, and reliability of Linux environments

Requirements

What you’ll need

Higher education degree in computer science or a related field
Successful experience in Linux systems administration, ideally in complex environments
Strong command of Linux environments
Solid knowledge of systems administration and troubleshooting
Experience with Bash/Shell scripting
Knowledge of automation, ideally using Ansible
Awareness of security, monitoring, and availability concerns
Proficiency in or knowledge of Linux, Red Hat/RHEL, CentOS/Rocky Linux, Bash/Shell, Ansible, VMware, scripting, monitoring, and patch management
Self-reliance and strong attention to detail
Strong analytical and incident-resolution skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and a genuine team spirit
