About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Monitor real-time network health and performance
- Troubleshoot and resolve Level 2/3 network incidents
- Implement basic configuration changes on Cisco networking equipment
- Manage alerts, tickets, and operational reports using ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, and related tools
- Diagnose connectivity, routing, and performance issues
- Coordinate with internal teams and external providers to ensure timely resolutions
- Maintain accurate and updated operational documentation
- Participate in major incident management and high-priority situations
- Provide support during critical or high-priority situations
- Apply operational best practices to ensure service availability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Advanced knowledge of Cisco routers and switches
- Strong command of BGP, EIGRP, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Telnet, SSH, and FTP
- Hands-on experience with monitoring platforms such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, Cisco Prime, Splunk, or Infoblox
- Advanced/Fluent English level
- Ability to work under pressure, adaptable, and detail-oriented
- Availability to work in rotating shifts
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or related fields
- 1 to 3 years of experience in NOC functions or similar network operations roles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical capabilities
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage high-pressure and fast-paced operational environments
- Strong teamwork and customer service orientation
- Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent (good to have)
- ITIL knowledge or certification (good to have)
- Familiarity with firewall technologies, VPNs, or ISP networks (good to have)
