About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide practical legal guidance on commercial contracts, including group business agreements and vendor and supplier agreements
  • Support litigation and claims involving general liability, workers’ compensation, third-party subpoenas, and insurance coverage matters
  • Advise on workforce-related legal risk, including employment agreements, workplace safety, contract labor, and other employment matters requiring attorney review
  • Develop and maintain legal playbooks, templates, checklists, guidelines, and other resources
  • Identify opportunities to improve legal processes and collaborate with Legal Operations and other departments
  • Support additional legal matters and responsibilities necessary to advance organizational priorities

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • At least two years of experience working in private practice
  • Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
  • Active admission to the bar in at least one U.S. state
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams
  • Ability to translate legal requirements into clear, practical, and scalable guidance
  • Demonstrated ability to partner effectively with business leaders, Legal Operations, HR, and other organizational stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • Ability to perform work requiring extended periods at a computer
