About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Advising clients during cyberattacks
Analyzing security incidents and developing effective countermeasures
Serving as a point of contact for clients and supporting them through critical situations
Supporting banks in meeting regulatory requirements for information security and business continuity
Planning and independently conducting crisis management exercises
Identifying critical business processes and assessing their protection requirements
Deriving appropriate measures to strengthen clients’ response capabilities and resilience
Nationwide project assignments involving multi-day travel for approximately 100–130 days per year

Requirements

What you’ll need

Completed degree in (Business) Information Systems or a related field, plus more than 6 years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity, or an equivalent qualification
Experience leading cross-functional projects or workstreams
Sound knowledge of information security, incident response, and business continuity management
Experience analyzing and managing cyberattacks
Experience working with security standards such as ISO 27001 and BSI IT-Grundschutz
Experience conducting protection-needs assessments and business impact analyses
Knowledge of regulatory requirements in the financial sector, particularly MaRisk and DORA
Business-fluent German at a minimum C1 level
Good English skills at B2 level
Excellent communication and presentation skills, a solution-oriented approach, and an entrepreneurial mindset
Willingness to work on nationwide projects and travel approximately 100–130 days per year
