Build, scale, and operate production-grade machine learning systems
Drive real-time personalization across the Attentive platform
Partner closely with Product and Engineering
Operate with a high degree of ownership
Raise the technical bar across machine learning systems
Build high-quality systems and proactively protect against regressions through testing
Improve project quality through direct contributions and long-term advocacy for larger-scale changes
Lead cross-functional machine learning projects across teams
Develop and implement models and scalable data-driven products
Work with large-scale data analysis, model development, model validation, and model implementation
Work with infrastructure and technology including Kubernetes, AWS EKS, Istio, Datadog, Terraform, CloudFlare, Helm, Java, Spring Boot, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Airflow, Postgres, PlanetScale, Redis, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook, Radix UI, Vite, esbuild, Playwright, Python, Metaflow, HuggingFace, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas

Requirements

What you’ll need

10+ years of professional experience building systems
Experience working on a single system long enough to see the consequences of decisions
Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, pandas, matplotlib, SQL, Spark, or similar tools
Proficiency or experience with Python
Extensive experience using machine learning and data analysis to build scalable systems and data-driven products
Experience working with cross-functional teams
Proven track record building scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation
Experience with modern research
Experience leading cross-functional machine learning projects across teams
Ability to build systems maintaining a high quality bar
Experience with testing techniques to prevent regressions
Technical leadership, collaboration, and communication skills
