Key responsibilities & impact

Build, scale, and operate production-grade machine learning systems
Drive real-time personalization across the Attentive platform
Partner closely with Product and Engineering
Raise the technical bar across machine learning systems
Build scalable systems and data-driven products using machine learning and data analysis
Develop and validate models and implement modern research
Lead cross-functional machine learning projects across teams
Improve project quality through direct contributions and advocacy for larger-scale changes
Work with infrastructure running in Kubernetes hosted in AWS EKS
Use infrastructure tooling including Istio, Datadog, Terraform, CloudFlare, and Helm
Work with Java/Spring Boot microservices and AWS data technologies
Work with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Storybook, Radix UI, Vite, esbuild, and Playwright
Build automation using Python, Metaflow, HuggingFace, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Pandas

Requirements

What you’ll need

6+ years of professional experience building systems
Experience with TensorFlow/PyTorch, XGBoost, pandas, matplotlib, SQL, Spark, or similar tools
Proficiency or experience with Python
Extensive experience using machine learning and data analysis to build scalable systems and data-driven products
Experience building scalable, efficient, automated processes for large-scale data analyses, model development, model validation, and model implementation
Experience leading cross-functional machine learning projects across teams
Experience building systems with a high bar of quality and protecting against regressions through testing techniques
Strong collaboration, technical leadership, and communication skills
10+ years of experience ideal
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience not stated; no educational credential required
