About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Take an active role in all commercial and financial matters—both operational and strategic—within the Planium holding company
Prepare and deliver ongoing financial and performance reporting to management, shareholders, and financing partners
Oversee controlling and coordinate the consolidation of the Group companies
Build and further develop the finance organization, particularly through the digitalization and standardization of finance processes
Own the planning, budgeting, and forecasting process, including liquidity planning
Provide financial support for add-on acquisitions, from due diligence through the integration of newly acquired companies
Work closely with the CEO of the Planium Group and act as a key sparring partner to AUCTUS
Develop toward overall commercial responsibility and assume CFO responsibility in the medium term

Requirements

What you’ll need

Successfully completed bachelor's or master's degree in business, finance, economics, or a comparable qualification
Several years of professional experience in accounting and controlling, preferably in a mid-sized company, audit, or a (mid-sized) management consultancy
In-depth knowledge of finance, reporting, and consolidation
Ideally, initial experience in private-equity-backed companies, M&A transactions, or people management
Hands-on mentality, strong assertiveness, and an affinity for mid-sized companies
Business-fluent German and English, both written and spoken
