About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Define and evolve the overall system architecture and technical roadmap
- Drive architectural decisions ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and performance
- Establish engineering standards, best practices, and design principles across development teams
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the software development lifecycle
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate hands-on in architecture reviews, system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Lead cloud-native and DevOps initiatives, ensuring efficient deployment, monitoring, and operational excellence
- Promote and leverage AI-assisted development tools and practices to improve engineering productivity, code quality, and delivery velocity
- Translate business and product needs into scalable technical solutions and guide implementation across the development lifecycle
- Work closely with Product Management, software development teams, QA, security, and operational stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Architecture, system design, or a senior technical leadership role
- Proven experience designing complex, large-scale software systems
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, microservices architecture, cloud-native applications, and SaaS platforms
- Experience designing scalable services, APIs, system integrations, and communication between distributed components
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or another major public cloud platform
- Strong software engineering background with the ability to participate in technical design, architecture reviews, and complex problem-solving
- Solid understanding of software quality attributes including scalability, reliability, availability, security, performance, and maintainability
- Hands-on experience using AI tools for software development, prototyping, and research, with familiarity integrating AI-powered services into software products
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to clearly communicate architectural decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Advantages: Experience with Node.js, C#, or similar modern backend technologies
- Advantages: Experience with Kubernetes and containerized cloud environments
- Advantages: Familiarity with Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Speech-to-Text, Text-to-Speech, or Conversational AI platforms
- Advantages: Knowledge of SIP, VoIP, telephony, or real-time communication systems
- Advantages: Experience with Contact Center, Unified Communications, Customer Experience (CX), or Microsoft Teams solutions
- Advantages: Experience with multi-tenant enterprise SaaS platforms
