About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Build and improve Augrade's point-cloud-to-BIM pipeline, including model creation, mesh generation, and data structuring
- Work directly with point cloud capture data, IFC files, and 3D modeling tools such as Blender
- Apply computer vision techniques to improve the accuracy and automation of 3D reconstruction
- Collaborate with a construction-savvy, technically deep team building a new capability from the ground up
- Join onsite gatherings in San Francisco roughly once per quarter
Requirements
What you’ll need- Construction background
- Deep, hands-on experience on detailed 3D projects
- Open to occasional onsite travel to San Francisco (~once per quarter)
- Nice to have: Point cloud experience — capture, processing, and interpretation
- Nice to have: Mesh generation experience
- Nice to have: Computer vision background
- Nice to have: Familiarity with IFC files and 3D tools like Blender
- Nice to have: Based in or near Bangalore, San Francisco, elsewhere in India, or elsewhere in the US
