Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s degree with 18 semester hours in Economics; graduate hours in education or teaching are not sufficient

  • Ability to teach in-person courses at all Athens Technical College locations
  • Ability to teach Athens Technical College courses in-person at area high school campuses
  • Willingness to teach using all college-approved methods, including face-to-face and online audio/video
  • Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the assigned course
  • Successful completion of appropriate background checks
  • Submit a cover letter, resume/vita, three professional references, and unofficial transcripts
  • Official transcripts required upon an offer of employment
