About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide instruction to students in classroom settings, traditional day/evening classes, and/or online classes
  • Prepare syllabi and lesson plans
  • Develop program goals and objectives
  • Demonstrate appropriate teaching, testing, grading, oral communication, and written communication techniques
  • Maintain grade books, records, reports, invoices, and assigned property inventory
  • Follow approved course syllabi and TCSG policies and procedures
  • Maintain program requirements and complete professional development training
  • Meet with students and college personnel regarding instructional programs and other issues
  • Evaluate student progress toward goals and objectives
  • Potentially serve as lead instructor and mentor adjunct faculty
  • Travel within the college’s service area and as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Earned Associate Degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • Current RPSGT in good standing with the BRPT
  • Minimum two (2) years clinical experience
  • Current BLS/CPR
  • Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
  • Ability to teach all phases of the curriculum
  • Knowledge of current in-field procedures
  • Required documentation includes a current resume, current RPSGT license, current BLS/CPR, completed CGTC job application, and transcripts showing post-secondary credits and conferred degrees
  • Applicants are subject to applicable pre-employment screenings, including criminal history, motor vehicle, employment references, drug, fingerprint, credit history, psychological, and medical examinations
