About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Prepare lesson plans for classroom instruction in credited technical/occupational courses

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Master’s Degree in Political Science or Master’s degree in a related discipline with 18 hours in the teaching discipline from an accredited institution
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Faculty must be credentialed to satisfy all appropriate accrediting bodies for the course assigned
  • Unofficial transcripts, resume, and proof of applicable certifications/licensure are required for consideration
  • Official transcripts and prior employment verification are required within 30 days of hire for continuous employment
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population
  • Ability to teach day, evening, and/or distance learning classes and activities as required
