About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide classroom and hands-on lab instruction
  • Develop and update Industry 4.0 training curricula according to Quick Start standards and client needs
  • Design, develop, and maintain Industry 4.0 training systems and hands-on learning environments
  • Perform periodic on-site client training need assessments
  • Work with other instructors and leadership to maintain consistent methods and standards
  • Deliver training in mechanical, electrical, and electronic troubleshooting
  • Deliver training on automation and PLC control systems, including Allen-Bradley/Rockwell and Siemens platforms
  • Deliver training on HMI systems, industrial networking, robotics, mechatronics, and other Industry 4.0 technologies
  • Travel throughout Georgia to support client training initiatives and conduct workforce assessments

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate degree in a related field and three (3) years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • Experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis
  • Experience in advanced manufacturing environments with expertise in equipment operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, automation systems, PLC controls, mechatronics, robotics, or related technologies
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field
  • Preferred: Additional experience in industrial automation, controls engineering, industrial maintenance, manufacturing training, or technical instruction
  • Preferred: Experience with Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or similar industrial automation platforms
  • Preferred: Prior experience teaching, coaching, mentoring, or delivering technical training
  • Preferred: Lean Manufacturing knowledge/experience
  • Strong computer, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to travel throughout Georgia
