About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Manage the development process up to ready-to-build authorizations for PV, BESS and wind projects
  • Carry out preliminary technical/environmental assessments for project acquisition
  • Define project development processes, including timelines, budgets, cash flows and necessary reports
  • Monitor project design and supervise engineering consultants, ensuring compliance with permitting, environmental and construction requirements
  • Cooperate with transmission/distribution operators and follow authorization procedures for electrical connection
  • Oversee project plans for timely and within-budget delivery
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies
  • Ensure quality control and adherence to industry standards and best practices
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Foster a collaborative and efficient culture and support junior resources

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Engineering degree (Electrical Engineering, Civil/Environmental Engineering, Energy Engineering preferred)
  • Advanced knowledge of legal and administrative processes in Romania
  • 2+ years of experience as a Development Project Manager in renewable energy, specifically PV/Wind/BESS projects
  • High communication and negotiation skills
  • Team player
  • Knowledge of the English language, both written and spoken
