About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead digital engineering and information management activities across major transport projects
- Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans, Information Management Plans and digital delivery frameworks
- Support project teams in meeting client requirements, contractual obligations and industry standards
- Guide the setup and management of Common Data Environments, collaboration platforms and information workflows
- Oversee coordination, review and quality assurance of models and digital deliverables
- Provide strategic advice on digital scope, resourcing, program requirements and project delivery approaches
- Support project mobilisation, onboarding and capability development across teams
- Build relationships with clients, contractors, joint venture partners and internal stakeholders
- Mentor BIM and digital engineering practitioners and contribute to Aurecon's Technical Communities
- Help shape Aurecon's digital engineering strategy and strengthen its position in the Queensland infrastructure market
Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant qualifications in Engineering, Architecture, Construction, Information Technology or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience
- Significant experience leading digital engineering, BIM and information management on infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of project delivery requirements across design, construction and handover phases
- Experience working on major transport infrastructure projects, ideally including Queensland TMR projects and collaborative or joint venture environments
- Strong knowledge of BIM standards, information management principles and digital delivery systems
- Experience managing Common Data Environments and multidisciplinary digital project teams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence, coach and guide teams toward successful outcomes
