About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Produce designs, documentation reports, proposals, and specifications
- Perform calculations and analysis to meet client requirements
- Contribute to project planning
- Plan and manage resources for small projects or parts of larger projects
- Perform clarifications and technical meetings
- Execute feasibility studies, project definition, concept design, specifications, and design documentation
- Coordinate with drafters and check drafting
- Review electrical project proposals
- Assist with fee proposals, tenders, and specifications
- Assist in technical and commercial tender evaluations
- Analyze and design ELV, LV, MV, and HV power, lighting, lightning, earthing systems, and communications services
- Prepare submission procedures and design standards
- Conduct site investigations and audits to develop and improve designs
- Collaborate with internal teams, clients, architects, contractors, and authorities from concept through construction
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legislative requirements
- Demonstrate safety leadership
- Provide input into unit or office business planning
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Electrical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings
- Data Centre Experience preferred
- Experience in Data Centre or Telecommunications preferred
- Demonstrated leadership and team management ability
- High level engineering consulting and client management skills
- Experience delivering major and/or complex design projects to blue chip clients
- Excellent communication skills in English and Bahasa
- Commercial, analytical, and technical skills
- Ability to explain complex engineering designs and solutions to non-technical audiences
- Experience delivering innovative and complex commercial building projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience or interest in managing projects from strategic and detailed planning through concept and detailed design
