About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Join Aurecon's Buildings business and contribute to building projects for clients
- Develop and maintain client plans and positive client relationships
- Achieve revenue and utilisation targets
- Develop client proposals and tenders with Business Development, including bid planning, facilitation, costing, writing, technical inputs and signoff
- Be accountable for overall project success, including contract negotiation, project management, timeliness, quality, risk management, financial performance, communication and scope management
- Close out projects effectively and conduct project debriefs with clients and internal stakeholders
- Provide technical expertise and oversee all technical aspects of projects
- Manage project profitability and financial contributions in line with proposals, business plans and budgets
- Lead, manage, develop and motivate the team
- Support career and competency development, services and technologies within the Service Group
Requirements
What you’ll need- Degree in Civil / Structural
- PE (Civil / Structural) registration with Professional Engineers Board in Singapore
- At least 15+ years' relevant professional/technical experience and/or specialization for Executive/Technical Director
- Project management qualification
- Solid technical expertise
- High-level engineering consulting and client management skills
- Experience delivering major and/or complex design projects
- Excellent communication, commercial, analytical and technical skills
- Strong client focus and proven business development track record
- Ability to manage projects from strategic and detailed planning through concept and detailed design
- Leadership and team management skills
- Ability to lead a team of junior staff
- Continuous learning mindset
