About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Undertake structural engineering design and analysis on infrastructure construction projects, including underground/elevated MRT stations and tunnels
- Deliver solutions to complex engineering problems
- Delegate tasks within a workgroup and mentor and develop structural engineers
- Provide structural design expertise and oversee technical aspects of projects
- Work independently and use initiative to resolve tasks or problems
- Prepare detailed reports or report sections
- Ensure work meets quality standards and complies with regulations
- Oversee project schedules and deliverables and ensure timely completion
- Provide technical expertise for value engineering
- Communicate with colleagues, managers, and clients
- Coordinate and manage projects across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Relevant experience within a civil and structural engineering consultancy environment
- Demonstrated experience in civil/structural design and analysis, particularly for underground rail and road infrastructure projects in Singapore and/or overseas
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Singapore and Eurocodes
- Experience with commonly used structural analysis and design software
- Proactive, dependable, and collaborative team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage projects effectively, including working across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders
