About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Deliver engineering excellence on-site
Ensure construction activities align with design intent, quality standards, and project timelines
Provide engineering solutions to site issues and coordinate with discipline leads
Oversee site activities and offer technical advice on construction and design matters
Review technical submissions and contractor drawings in consultation with project leads
Ensure compliance of works with approved drawings and specifications
Collaborate with contractors, subcontractors, and the supply chain to ensure smooth execution
Monitor daily construction activities and conduct regular site inspections
Verify materials delivered to site meet specifications and quality standards
Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and progress
Attend project meetings and coordinate inspections with stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need

At least 10 years of experience in civil and structural supervision, particularly in industrial or institutional developments
Strong knowledge of data centre construction, precast structures, structural steel, and local construction practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM is preferred
Strong leadership and supervisory skills
Effective communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
A relevant degree from a recognized university
Registration as a Resident Engineer with BEM
