Key responsibilities & impact

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Chartered Professional Civil Engineer considered favourably
  • Civil engineering qualification
  • Relevant dam industry experience
  • Understanding of ANCOLD and State-based guidelines and regulatory practices
  • Civil dams engineering background
  • Understanding of dams geotechnical, structural, and hydraulic engineering aspects
  • Understanding of dam safety management and risk assessment practices
  • Well-developed communication and technical report writing skills
  • Ability to present concepts to a diverse range of clients
  • Ability to independently implement engineering design standards with minimal guidance
  • Ability to manage project teams and mentor junior engineers
  • Willingness to participate in industry technical events and conferences
