About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support the design and delivery of transport infrastructure projects
- Contribute to multidisciplinary road projects from tender through detail design
- Support development of infrastructure options responding to client, community and network needs
- Prepare detailed civil engineering plans, profiles, cross-sections and construction documentation
- Maintain drawing standards, levels, references, naming conventions and project documentation
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to deliver practical, coordinated, construction-ready civil drawings
- Support project delivery according to quality, budget and schedule requirements
- Support implementation of CAD/BIM and digital engineering standards
- Manage ISO19650 workflows
- Maintain CAD standards
- Manage drawing revisions and document control requirements
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum of 8 years relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in major roads projects
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects
- Ability to work collaboratively within an integrated design team
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, coordinated, high-quality documentation
- Experience working on Australian state or local government transport projects
- Familiarity with Australian state drafting standards
- Understanding of ISO19650
- Essential: ProjectWise knowledge (negotiable, with understanding of document management systems)
- MicroStation (non-negotiable)
- AutoCAD, Autodesk Forma and Revit desirable
