About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Take responsibility for projects from initial design through construction and final review
  • Collaborate with other design disciplines locally and regionally to ensure overall design integrity
  • Manage projects or project components, budgets, schedules, quality assurance and client feedback
  • Communicate changes and modifications effectively
  • Assist with workload management and resource forecasting
  • Prepare proposal documentation
  • Review and ensure compliance of drawings, reports, specifications, survey, access and appraisals
  • Build and maintain effective client relationships

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • At least 5-8 years’ relevant experience in Buildings Mechanical Design and commissioning of M&E systems in modern commercial and industrial buildings
  • Data Centre Experience preferred
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead project team members on technical delivery
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of relevant engineering codes, standards, and practices
  • Organised approach and ability to accept increased responsibility and produce accurate and detailed work
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Exposure to BIM / Revit highly desired
  • Advanced problem-solving skills through investigation and analysis
