About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Oversee structural design delivery across substations, transmission, BESS, solar, and wind projects
- Partner with clients to solve complex technical challenges and deliver practical engineering solutions
- Work with transmission and renewable energy specialists on nationally significant energy infrastructure projects
- Collaborate across engineering, advisory, digital, and environmental disciplines
- Mentor emerging engineers and build a profile as a technical specialist
- Drive high-quality structural designs using industry-leading tools, methodologies, and best practices
- Apply advanced engineering analysis to optimise performance, efficiency, and constructability
- Deliver complex designs across transmission, substations, renewables, and battery storage
- Contribute to client relationships and develop commercial and project delivery skills

Requirements
What you’ll need- Relevant engineering qualifications
- Experience delivering structural designs for energy infrastructure projects
- CPEng and RPEQ registration or demonstrated commitment towards achieving professional registration
- Experience designing steel and reinforced concrete structures
- Expertise in structural analysis, modelling, and foundation design
- Ability to mentor teams, share knowledge, and guide complex technical decisions
- Ability to build trusted relationships and work effectively with clients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams
- Experience coordinating packages of work and contributing to successful project delivery
- Passion for innovation, continuous improvement, and supporting the energy transition
