About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Oversee the scoping, design, delivery, rollout, and ongoing support of Vehicle Recognition and Subject Recognition pilots and deployments
  • Act as project manager for deployments ranging from a handful of customer sites to thousands of sites
  • Serve as the in-market subject matter expert for Auror’s Vehicle Recognition and Subject Recognition modules
  • Provide technical expertise during sales cycles, including presentations and RFPs
  • Support smooth transitions from sales to project implementation
  • Collaborate with engineering to set up monitoring and alerting systems
  • Configure and optimize recognition technology deployments
  • Troubleshoot network and hardware issues
  • Provide technical feedback for product improvements
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships for recognition technology hardware and software
  • Partner with external integrators on system rollout and maintenance
  • Understand market differences and use of LPR and FR technology across global markets
  • Partner with Customer Success teams on customer pilots and rollouts
  • Own technical issues and questions, communicate updates, and follow through to resolution
  • Travel to customer sites approximately 2–5 days per month

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience rolling out and leading complex technical programmes involving a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to operate autonomously and be accountable for project delivery in a lean team environment
  • Exceptional communication, with a strong preference for documenting over synchronous discussion
  • Understanding of commercial drivers and ability to apply technical domain knowledge to business objectives
  • Strategic thinking to identify growth, integration, and partnership opportunities
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts quickly
  • Curiosity about using AI tools to enhance technical workflows, efficiency, and support
  • Deep understanding of License Plate Recognition (LPR) and Facial Recognition (FR) systems and deployment models, including on-camera and on-premise deployments
  • Practical knowledge of networking requirements for software running in customer environments
  • Solid understanding of SaaS platforms, databases, and cloud environments
  • Background in Engineering is advantageous
  • Experience in a product organisation and recent experience in a growth business are bonuses
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States; Auror is unable to offer visa sponsorship
