About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Contribute to the development of Aurora’s growing suite of software products used by leading companies across the energy sector
  • Collaborate with multiple Aurora teams to improve products and increase adoption
  • Work with large datasets and support deployment of services across European regions
  • Develop the skillset to step into the role of an Associate Product Manager
  • Work with software engineers, modelers, and research analysts in continuous product delivery
  • Gather client feedback, support client questions, and help clients get value from software and services
  • Test products to ensure high-quality and robust software
  • Apply advanced analytics techniques to derive insights from energy modelling and complex datasets
  • Become a subject matter expert in areas such as energy modelling, renewables, and batteries
  • Maintain and update a prioritized product backlog with the Product Manager
  • Assist in creating a product roadmap
  • Measure, analyze, and report on adoption, engagement, and retention metrics
  • Project manage new feature delivery and write product requirements
  • Collaborate with Product Analysts and Managers to share best practices and expand Product Management culture

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university and evidence of strong academic performance in a quantitative subject
  • Experience with at least one programming language, e.g. Python, R, etc.
  • Ability to collect, analyze and interpret complex quantitative data and information
  • Strong interest in energy and power markets
  • Evidence of strong performance in team-oriented environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to adapt communication style for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter with strong ownership: take initiative, stay on top of priorities without prompting, and consistently deliver on deadlines
  • Recent graduate of a bachelor’s or master’s degree for the Analyst level, or 1–2 years of relevant professional experience for the Senior Analyst level
