About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Install, service, diagnose, troubleshoot and maintain nurse call systems and related technologies
  • Commission front-end workstations and servers
  • Read and interpret existing installations and as-built drawings
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repair and emergency service work
  • Work directly with customers to complete installations and service work to a high standard
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Service teams and other internal stakeholders
  • Document completed work, solutions and technical findings to support continuous improvement
  • Travel regularly to customer sites across the United States
  • Report to the Service Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Experience working with networking, operating systems and system integration
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with network topology and virtual environments
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
  • Flexibility to participate in an on-call roster
  • Ability to travel to customer sites across the U.S. whenever needed
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
  • Experience in healthcare technology or nurse call systems is highly regarded
