About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet and interview potential donors to understand their eligibility and suitability to donate
  • Create a positive donor experience

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven customer-facing experience
  • Passion for delivering an exceptional donor experience
  • Curiosity and motivation to learn the blood and biological product collection process
  • Comfortable with needles and blood/biological materials
  • Ability to occasionally lift between 9 and 22.7 kg
  • Ability to frequently stand, walk and bend to set up and pack down machines and blood products
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to Saturday/Sunday, including weekends and afternoon shifts
  • No previous blood collection experience required
  • No educational credential explicitly required
