About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Help autarc expand into territories beyond Germany, particularly the UK
Pressure test the MCS flow and review the current MCS commissioning and handover flow from an on-site installer's perspective
Identify missing, incorrect or impractical elements in the flow
Translate MCS requirements into practical product decisions
Help ensure client-produced documents pass inspection on the first attempt
Serve as the go-to expert for UK compliance, market and compliance questions
Monitor changes to PV and heating standards, MCS requirements and DNO processes
Explain regulatory changes and their implications for installers

Requirements

What you’ll need

Hands-on installer experience on both solar and heat pumps
Deep knowledge of MCS commissioning, handover and certification requirements
Knowledge of documentation pitfalls, including missing evidence, wrong or incomplete forms, failed audits and problematic shortcuts
Experience with DNO application flows, including G98/G99 notifications and applications
Up-to-date knowledge of UK PV and heating compliance regulations
Ability to explain technical requirements clearly to product and engineering teams
Based in the UK is nice to have; remote candidates elsewhere are accepted
