About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the team while continuing to write productive Full-Stack code
Make foundational decisions regarding data modeling, system design, and scalability
Model, optimize, and scale databases
Lead recruiting and mentoring efforts
Work cross-functionally with Product, Design, and Business
Make technical decisions in the context of real business objectives
Shape architectural decisions for a global trust infrastructure for physical products
Further develop systems for unique product identities, globally distributed scans, and near-real-time responses

Requirements

What you’ll need

Senior-level experience and a willingness to continue coding productively across the full stack
Several years of experience in an enterprise SaaS environment
Deep expertise in data and application architecture
At least 5 years of leadership experience
Strong command of complex databases
Proficiency with relational and document-based systems, particularly Cloud SQL and Firebase/Firestore
Willingness to take ownership of architecture, data models, and scalability
