About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Support configuration of templates, workflows, and rules based on established design patterns
- Translate customer requirements into functional system setups
- Track assigned tasks and surface blockers or questions to the lead early
- Draft design documentation, workflow logic diagrams, and configuration notes
- Ensure accurate as-built documentation reflecting the final customer environment
- Help prepare handoff materials for Quality Assurance
- Co-lead discovery sessions and working meetings to capture requirements and action items
- Facilitate defined segments of the implementation journey
- Prepare presentation materials and platform demos for customer-facing meetings
- Execute QA practices and UAT scripts to validate configurations
- Troubleshoot configuration issues and document reproduction steps for complex bugs
- Assist with data validation and cleanup for platform launches
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering on new features and platform capabilities
- Use internal playbooks and templates for consistency across engagements
- Participate in peer reviews to improve technical accuracy and best practices
Requirements
What you’ll need- 2+ years of experience in a technical or analytical role (Implementation, Support, or Junior Analyst), preferably within B2B SaaS
- Ability to understand conditional logic (if/then/else) and structured data
- Proven ability to manage documentation and follow complex processes without skipping steps
- Ability to explain technical steps clearly to internal teammates and external users
- Comfort in fast-paced technical environments with continuous product delivery and ongoing learning
- Must be based in (or planning to relocate to) Washington, DC
- Experience supporting public-sector or similar high-compliance environment customers is preferred
- Familiarity with procurement, contracting, grants, budgeting, or vendor workflows is preferred
- Exposure to data flows, sequencing considerations, APIs, or ETL concepts is preferred
- Demonstrated ability to assist in delivery across multiple stakeholders and surface risks proactively is preferred
- Experience contributing to or improving delivery standards, templates, or playbooks is preferred
