About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and implement production-grade AI and agent systems
Develop modern architectures centered on LLMs, Knowledge Graphs, and data integration
Take solutions from concept through to production
Operate and scale AI workloads on Kubernetes
Own the deployment and optimization of on-premises LLMs, such as vLLM and Ollama
Develop robust architectures with observability, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop capabilities
Lead architecture workshops
Advise clients, including at C-level
Translate business requirements into viable and cost-effective AI solutions
Make well-founded technology decisions and evaluate new frameworks
Actively contribute to the development of the AI portfolio
Bring new ideas, technologies, and best practices to the team

Requirements

What you’ll need

Several years of experience delivering AI/ML or GenAI projects
Practical experience with LLM- or agent-based systems in production-like environments
Experience in architecture and client projects, including workshops and stakeholder management
Technical focus on GenAI/LLM systems, agent-based architectures, Knowledge Graphs, and data and backend integration
Experience with Kubernetes, inference stacks, or observability is an advantage
Understanding of trade-offs, scalability, and commercial viability
Ability to communicate and present complex topics clearly
Confident and professional demeanor when working with clients
Structured, pragmatic, and solution-oriented approach
Fluent written and spoken German at C1 level
Very good English skills are an advantage
Ideally based in the Berlin area and willing to spend regular time with the team in the office
Experience in regulated industries is a nice-to-have
Knowledge of LLM evaluation or RAG approaches is a nice-to-have
Familiarity with the EU AI Act and GDPR in an AI context is a nice-to-have
Contributions to open source, conference talks, or technical articles are a nice-to-have
