About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently lead early project phases, including discovery workshops, assessments, pre-sales, and business case development
- Represent the business perspective throughout the entire project lifecycle
- Translate business strategies and industry requirements into business cases for data platforms, analytics, GenAI use cases, and cloud transformations
- Analyze business models and identify opportunities to improve revenue growth, conversion, customer lifetime value, cost efficiency, and scalability through data and AI
- Advise clients at management and C-level on Data & AI strategies, as well as TCO, ROI, and investment prioritization
- Work closely with engineering teams and translate technical capabilities into business value
- Create presentations, visualizations, and dashboards to support management decision-making
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a comparable role
- Ideally, experience in business or IT consulting or digital transformation
- Confident and credible presence with senior management and C-level stakeholders
- Ability to quickly understand and compellingly position Data & AI consulting, engineering, AWS reselling, and managed services
- Strong industry expertise
- Solid understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, and AI use cases
- Demonstrated experience with ROI, TCO, and investment prioritization
- Experience in project and stakeholder management
- Familiarity with agile ways of working
- Excellent communication skills in German and English
- A strong sense of responsibility, curiosity, and interest in new technologies, industries, and business models
- Experience with cloud environments, ideally AWS, is a plus but not required
