About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Provision and manage infrastructure resources in Microsoft Azure
- Implement and maintain development, testing, staging, and production environments
- Automate environment creation and management using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Configure and administer networking, identity, security, and governance in Azure
- Monitor the performance, availability, and costs of cloud environments
- Implement security and compliance controls in accordance with cloud best practices
- Support development teams in adopting and using Azure services
- Resolve incidents, troubleshoot issues, and optimize environments
- Participate in defining and evolving cloud infrastructure architecture
- Collaborate on CI/CD pipelines for automated provisioning and deployment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience in cloud infrastructure administration and engineering
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure
- Experience administering Azure services, including Virtual Machines, Virtual Networks (VNet), Storage Accounts, Load Balancers, Azure App Services, Azure Key Vault, and Azure Monitor
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates)
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, VPNs, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity
- Experience with automation using PowerShell, Bash, or Python
- Knowledge of CI/CD and integration with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and troubleshooting in cloud environments
- Advanced English proficiency for working in a global environment
- Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes and Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
- Preferred: Knowledge of FinOps and cloud cost optimization
- Preferred: Experience with Azure Landing Zones and the Cloud Adoption Framework
- Preferred: Knowledge of cloud security, Microsoft Defender for Cloud, and Microsoft Entra ID
- Preferred: Experience with multi-cloud environments
