About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead the design and implementation of Microsoft Purview capabilities
- Define data classification, sensitivity labelling, and information protection strategies
- Design retention, records management, disposition, and information lifecycle controls
- Configure and govern Microsoft Purview compliance and risk management capabilities
- Support implementation of Information Asset Management and Data Governance requirements
- Define metadata, taxonomy, and information governance approaches
- Work with security and architecture teams to align governance controls with client requirements
- Provide guidance on compliance, auditability, and records management outcomes
- Support design documentation, workshops, testing, and operational handover activities
- Ensure Microsoft Purview capabilities are appropriately designed, configured, and integrated within the broader Microsoft 365 solution
- Ensure alignment with client information governance requirements, records management obligations, and security policies
