About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Identify, develop, and deploy end-user solutions for system implementations
- Provide leadership and advisory services around project management, business process development, implementation support, and end-user training
- Lead project planning, implementation, and requirements-gathering efforts across projects
- Work through complex problems and act as liaison between Avanade clients and consultants, particularly during initial project phases
- Define and manage functional and non-functional business requirements
- Translate requirements into logical and technical models linked to business processes
- Lead client workshops and design solutions for application and process gaps
- Prototype and configure business processes according to customer constraints
- Automate business processes using workflow technology
- Test system behavior and configurations against functional requirements
- Document requirements, system settings, and implemented solutions
- Train key-users and end-users
- Support key-users during user acceptance testing and resolve issues
- Collaborate with stakeholders on system patches and upgrades
- Implement relevant technology releases and updates
Requirements
What you’ll need- Background in accounting and accounting processes is ideal
- Experience identifying, developing, and deploying end-user solutions in system implementation
- Ability to define functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business processes
- Ability to translate business requirements into logical and technical models
- Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements
- Experience managing requirements approval, communication, traceability, and reuse
- Experience interfacing with clients and internal technical teams
- Ability to lead client workshops and analyze business process decomposition
- Experience prototyping and configuring business processes
- Experience with workflow technology and business process automation
- Experience testing system configurations and behavior
- Ability to document business requirements, system settings, and system documentation
- Ability to educate and train key-users and end-users
- Experience supporting user acceptance testing
- Ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders on patches and upgrades
- Ability to stay updated on technologies, releases, and updates
