About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Identify, develop, and deploy end-user solutions in system implementation
Provide leadership and advisory services around project management, business process development, implementation support, and end-user training
Lead project planning, implementation, and requirements-gathering efforts across projects
Work through complex problems and act as liaison between Avanade clients and consultants, particularly during initial project phases
Define, translate, elicit, document, validate, and manage business requirements
Interface with clients and internal technical teams to clarify functional requirements
Lead client workshops and design solutions for application and process gaps
Prototype and configure business processes to customer constraints
Utilize workflow technology to automate business processes
Test system behavior and configurations
Prepare comprehensive system documentation
Educate and train key-users and end-users
Support key-users during user acceptance testing
Collaborate on system patches and upgrades
Stay current on technologies, releases, and updates

Requirements

What you’ll need

Background in accounting and accounting processes is ideal
Ability to define functional and non-functional requirements aligned with business processes
Ability to translate business requirements into logical and technical models
Experience eliciting, documenting, and validating business requirements from clients and stakeholders
Ability to manage requirements approval, communication, traceability, and reuse
Ability to interface with clients and internal technical teams
Ability to lead client workshops and analyze business process decomposition
Ability to prototype and configure business processes
Knowledge of workflow technology
Ability to test system behavior and configurations
Ability to document business requirements, system settings, and system documentation
Ability to educate and train key-users and end-users
Ability to support user acceptance testing
Ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders on patches and upgrades
