About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develop and maintain backend solutions using Spring Boot and Python
- Build scalable applications with Spring Boot and Spring Batch
- Develop integrations between systems and messaging solutions
- Implement data processing workflows using Dataflow
- Work with event-driven architectures using Kafka and other messaging technologies
- Develop and optimize solutions using relational databases
- Create and maintain automated unit tests to ensure delivery quality
- Use continuous integration and continuous delivery tools to automate pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evolve the Core Banking platform
- Work in cloud environments, ensuring performance, scalability, and high availability
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience developing with Spring Boot and Spring Batch
- Experience with Python
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE)
- Experience with Dataflow
- Experience with Kafka
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, or Sybase
- Experience developing integrations and working with messaging platforms such as CA API, Apigee, Pub/Sub, RabbitMQ, and Kafka
- Experience with unit testing automation frameworks
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery tools such as Jenkins and Spinnaker
- Preferred: experience working in the financial services industry
- Preferred: knowledge of Cloud Spanner
- Preferred: experience with banking platform and Core Banking modernization projects
