About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive growth and client outcomes across the firm’s target markets
  • Lead go-to-market efforts in agreed markets or market segments
  • Work with incoming Market Leaders, the Chief Growth Officer, and the communications and engagement director
  • Oversee and lead delivery of client engagements end-to-end
  • Ensure compliant, timely, commercially successful delivery and excellence across client interactions
  • Advise senior management and the board on strategic and investment decisions
  • Provide insight and ideas to drive A Works’ product innovation funnel
  • Act as a role model, mentor, and manager for more junior colleagues
  • Contribute to consulting and product revenue growth and progression of the business

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High levels of ambition, energy and resilience, consistent with the firm’s plans for growth
  • Experience leading the delivery of sophisticated pieces of work at pace, and to exacting standards
  • Experience leading or supporting successful go-to-market efforts, including the crystallisation of revenue outcomes
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, internally and externally, at all organisational levels
  • Enjoyment working in an entrepreneurial, commercial, high-performance environment
  • High levels of precision and presentational pride across all work
  • Expertise, networks, and ability to generate revenue in relevant markets, including digital, education, health and social care, central government, strategic suppliers to government, or learning and development
