Analyze requirements and design scalable backend solutions aligned with business needs and architectural guidelines
Develop, maintain, and evolve microservices-based applications and RESTful APIs
Write clean, maintainable code using SOLID principles, Clean Code practices, and design patterns
Ensure software quality through unit testing, code reviews, and performance optimization
Identify, analyze, and resolve incidents in production environments
Collaborate with cross-functional teams across analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
Contribute to scalable, high-performance microservices and modernization of digital platform solutions in the banking sector

Requirements

What you’ll need

2+ years of proven experience in Java Backend development
Java 8, Java 21, or higher
Hands-on experience with Spring Boot 2.x/3.x, Spring Web, Spring Data JPA, and Spring Security
Knowledge of Microservices Architecture and REST API design/implementation
Proficiency with Git, GitFlow, branching strategies, hotfixes, and Maven
Experience writing unit tests using JUnit and Mockito
Experience with relational and non-relational databases
Nice-to-have: event-driven architecture and Apache Kafka or IBM MQ
Nice-to-have: SOAP, OpenAPI/Swagger, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Loki, AppDynamics, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, cloud environments, AI-assisted tools, and Prompt Engineering
