About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web applications and banking platforms
Execute functional, manual, and regression testing activities to validate product quality
Analyze, document, and track defects while working closely with development teams on issue resolution
Improve and maintain automation frameworks using Python, pytest, and Playwright
Develop reusable test components utilizing Page Object Model and fixture-based approaches
Validate new features, system enhancements, and production fixes
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives related to quality assurance processes and testing standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and high-quality software deliveries
Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders across the full testing lifecycle

Requirements

What you’ll need

3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a strong focus on test automation
Hands-on experience with Python for test automation development
Strong knowledge of pytest and automated testing frameworks
Experience creating and maintaining automated UI tests using Playwright
Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
Experience implementing and maintaining Page Object Model (POM) frameworks and fixtures
Strong experience executing regression tests and validating application functionality
Experience performing defect analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation
Understanding of software testing methodologies, test case design, and QA best practices
Experience with functional and manual testing in banking environments
Knowledge of banking processes and financial services workflows
Previous experience working with Bantotal solutions
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing integration
Experience working in Agile development environments
