About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Design and develop back-end solutions using Java, JPA, and SQL (Oracle)
Develop and configure business processes and mediation flows in BAW
Automate build and deployment processes and write scripts using Maven, Ant, Jython, Python, Service Deploy, and WS Admin
Manage configuration and support network and database integration
Take part in PoC and discovery tasks
Clarify technical requirements with the team and the client
Work on a long-term project for an existing client
Participate in DevOps activities
Build and improve enterprise solutions on WebSphere and Business Automation Workflow (BAW)

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong commercial experience with Java at a senior level
Hands-on experience with JPA
Experience building and consuming REST and SOAP web services
Solid knowledge of SQL
English at Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice-to-have: BAW / Mediation Flow development and configuration
Nice-to-have: WebSphere automation scripting
Nice-to-have: Experience with Oracle DB
Nice-to-have: Experience with Maven and Gradle
Nice-to-have: WebSphere installation and configuration experience (Jython)
Nice-to-have: AWS experience
