About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Maintain and further develop the PHP application built with Symfony/Doctrine
Maintain and expand the Angular and React frontends
Debug across the entire stack, from the database to the UI
Contribute to expanding the deployment pipeline in Azure DevOps
Develop smaller features after onboarding, in coordination with the Product Owners
Independently learn new languages and tools, supported by AI tools
Work on systems in active production use

Requirements

What you’ll need

Solid foundations in TypeScript/JavaScript and Angular or React
Initial professional experience in backend development with C#/.NET or PHP—experience with either is sufficient
Understanding of relational databases (PostgreSQL or comparable)
Completed vocational training (e.g., EFZ in Application or Platform Development, a degree in Computer Science, or equivalent) or currently pursuing a degree
Cost-effective and sound judgment when using AI coding tools
Independent, proactive, and pragmatic approach to work
Willingness to learn new languages and frameworks independently with discipline and AI support
Nice to have: Experience with PHP, Symfony, and Doctrine ORM
Nice to have: Knowledge of Terraform, Bicep, or Infrastructure as Code
Nice to have: Familiarity with Azure DevOps or CI/CD pipelines
