About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Have overall responsibility for the financial management, statutory reporting, compliance and financing of the Avensia Group
  • Serve as a member of the Group Management Team
  • Act as a close strategic partner to the CEO, Board of Directors and operating businesses
  • Lead an international team and turn financial data into insights supporting Avensia’s development and growth
  • Ensure high-quality financial management and controlling, focusing on margins, cash flow, operational efficiency and timely decision support
  • Take overall responsibility for statutory financial reporting, internal controls and risk management in accordance with Nasdaq First North Premier Growth Market requirements
  • Lead and develop the Finance and IT organisation, comprising ten employees across Sweden and the Philippines, with four direct reports
  • Drive Finance digitalisation through smarter systems, automation and AI to improve accounting, reporting and financial analysis efficiency

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • A university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or an equivalent qualification
  • Solid experience in senior finance roles, ideally as CFO, Finance Director or in a comparable leadership position
  • Previous experience with statutory financial reporting and regulatory requirements in a listed company
  • A proven track record of leading change within Finance
  • A genuine interest in modern technology and how AI and automation can shift Finance from manual processes towards more strategic and value-adding analysis
  • Experience leading and developing teams remotely, preferably in an international environment
  • Ability to build culture and engagement across borders
  • A strong business-oriented and analytical mindset
  • Ability to turn financial data into actionable insights and high-quality decision support for the CEO and Board
  • Full professional proficiency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken
  • Ability to join Avensia no later than the end of 2026
