About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Provide comprehensive logistics management and Integrated Product Support expertise for the NSWC PCD Integrated Product Team
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute sustainment and product support activities, including LCSPs, DMSMS management, CMPs, and Maintenance Plans
  • Provide technical and analytical support for provisioning, IETMs, MRCs, and other logistics products and documentation
  • Coordinate and develop lifecycle logistics program documentation, milestone deliverables, Logistics Support Plans, and acquisition documentation
  • Evaluate, update, and maintain logistics documentation throughout the systems lifecycle
  • Review Engineering Change Proposals for impacts on ILS, supportability, readiness, and lifecycle costs; conduct trade-off analyses and make recommendations
  • Provide acquisition and production support for system development, production, modification, fielding, and sustainment
  • Analyze modernization and logistics strategies involving production, distribution, inventory management, and sustainment
  • Coordinate and support Integrated Logistics Assessments, including checklists, trackers, schedules, and milestone inputs
  • Develop, edit, and maintain technical manuals, procedures, work instructions, reports, plans, specifications, and other deliverables
  • Research, validate, and translate complex technical information into clear documentation
  • Analyze engineering source material to document system capabilities, operational procedures, maintenance requirements, logistics processes, and product support requirements
  • Facilitate logistics meetings and working groups; prepare briefs, document decisions, and track follow-up actions
  • Support all 12 Integrated Product Support elements to improve system availability, maintainability, readiness, and Fleet sustainment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree and 4 years of related logistics or ILS experience; or 4 years of equivalent DoD logistics experience
  • Demonstrated experience with DoD and Navy logistics principles, processes, and life-cycle management
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Suite, including Excel, Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Word
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and deadlines
  • Demonstrated experience in technical writing of documentation
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and engaging directly with government and contractors
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a U.S. Passport
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship is required
