About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Install Avidity Science systems according to customer drawings and company specifications
Interpret drawings and instructions
Update as-built details on drawings after installation and submit them to the office
Supervise contractors during installations as required
Provide initial system training to customers
Update the Installation Coordinator and Project Managers daily on job status
Perform preventative maintenance on Avidity Science products
Provide warranty service and support
Provide emergency service and support
Review system installations and begin system commissioning
Prepare appropriate reports
Complete product certification for Avidity Science products

Requirements

What you’ll need

An Associate’s degree or similar trade experience
Minimum of three years' experience in servicing, troubleshooting and supporting electrical or electro-mechanical systems at external customer facilities
Knowledge of standard manufacturing and business tools, including Microsoft Office
In-depth industry knowledge and understanding of customer needs and requirements
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written business correspondence
Ability to learn quickly and independently
Ability to adapt quickly to changing environments
Ability to articulate and apply a customer value proposition for Avidity Science solutions
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, facility drawings and project requirements
Ability to interface with customers and contractors
Ability to translate technical product knowledge to both technical and non-technical customers
Ability to manage assigned tasks within scheduled commitments
Professional level presentation skills
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Basic understanding of water chemistry
Ability to comprehend and utilize start-up and maintenance manuals
Basic computer and networking skills
Basic plumbing and electrical understanding
95% travel is required
