About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Assist in the management of projects to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage on-site and off-site suppliers to ensure work quality meets AVK and customer standards.
- Monitor contractual requirements, payment milestones, key dates, technical scope requirements, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Plan resources for acceptable delivery of site installation.
- Create and manage project paperwork in line with project manager guidance.
- Assist in producing project progress reports.
- Make day-to-day decisions concerning site operations and deadlines.
- Attend site acceptance tests when required.
- Ensure AVK projects are delivered on time and according to contract technical requirements.
- Agree engineering designs with the technical team and prepare and monitor project plans.
Requirements
What you’ll need- A bachelor's degree in project management, electrical/ mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- Prior experience in project management or relevant internships is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with project management software (such as MS Project or Trello) is an advantage.
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Available to travel within Europe as and when required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
