About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Coordinate monthly payroll activities, including collecting and validating payroll inputs
  • Collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely salary payments
  • Administer employee benefit programs and support benefits-related queries
  • Maintain and update employee data in Workday and/or local HR systems
  • Perform audits, controls, and reporting activities to support data integrity and operational excellence
  • Support employees with payroll and benefits-related matters
  • Lead and support the transition of assigned markets into the Shared Services model
  • Support process mapping, system integration, and knowledge transfer activities
  • Create, maintain, and update documentation, process guides, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships through communication and collaboration
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR Operations, HR Shared Services, Payroll, HR Administration, or a related field
  • Solid understanding of payroll processes and employee benefits administration
  • Experience working with HR systems, ideally Workday or another HRIS platform
  • Professional-level fluency in English, both written and spoken
  • Italian language skills would be an advantage but are not essential
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, compliance, and data quality
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and proactive approach to process improvements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience supporting process transitions, change initiatives, or shared services operations would be an advantage
